Devgad Alphonso, Ripened in Hay - Never With Carbide

Most mangoes sold in cities are picked hard and force-ripened with calcium carbide, which gives an even yellow colour but a flat, chemical taste. Ours are never carbide treated. They are harvested at the right maturity and ripened naturally in hay, so they come to you soft, fragrant and sweet the way Hapus is supposed to be.

Alphonso season runs roughly from April to early June and stock is limited every year. Message us on WhatsApp to pre-book for the coming season and we will tell you the moment the first harvest is ready.
